失智症成因與腦血管疾病之間錯綜複雜的病生理解密團隊


全球及國內失智症病人逐年增加,而血管性失智症佔失智症病因第二位,僅次於阿茲海默症. 腦中風後會引發失智症,而且腦血管疾病即使不中風還是會導致認知功能下降,過去這個領域研究較少,仍有許多未被解答的問題,治療上更是欠缺。

本中心血管性失智症團隊主要研究方向包括:腦中風後發生認知功能障礙的疾病歷程與風險因子,腦中風後神經腦血流調控的改變及其對認知功能的影響,在家遠距生物訊號在中風後認知功能變化之角色,還有腦中風後認知功能障礙的血液生物標記。未來將加入影像學分析以更全面了解腦血流與腦功能的雙向影響,進而釐清腦血流障礙在神經退化性疾病的病生理機轉。

我們團隊包括臨床醫師,流行病學專家,生物資訊專家,還有基礎神經科學研究人員,我們每月開會,建立雲端資料庫,彙整各個研究子團隊的數據,希望能找到血管性失智症的解方。
